Women Leadership Development

October 2015 – September 2018. Supported by the Delegation of the European Union - EU. The objectives of the project is to increase knowledge base of over 300,000 citizens, 1,500 local leaders, and 1500 youth and women leaders on fundamental human rights focusing on rights to culture, land, women and children rights as well as political rights for sustainable peaceful co-existence; establish and strengthen community based human rights promotion, monitoring systems and platforms in 15 sub counties and advocate for the observance of fundamental rights of the marginalized indigenous and migrant communities in respect to women and children rights, land rights, political rights and rights to culture through a proactive engagement of civil society fraternity with government structures and grass root communities (PPP) in the target sub counties by 2018.
