Participating Emyooga women’s enterprise groups in Arua City have sent out a plea to Microfinance Support Centre [MSC] to consider them for the second funding phase. The women groups claim most of their beneficiaries got small loans that couldn’t meet all their business requirements, and as a result not much has changed in their income streams. This happened during the first phase where Shs 30 million was disbursed to Emyooga SACCOs countrywide.
To sustainably boost their earnings from the businesses established, the Women groups in Arua City request Microfinance Support Centre [MSC] to provide an additional Shs 20mllion as pledged for the second phase of the program.
