Another Bold step as women lead Uganda delegation of 70 to UN General Assembly.

September 21, 2023

The UN General Assembly (UNGA) is the main policy-making organ of the Organization. Comprising all Member States, it provides a unique forum for multilateral discussion of the full spectrum of international issues covered by the Charter of the United Nations. Each of the 193 Member States of the United Nations has an equal vote for its  78th session. The Uganda government has sent two delegations led by two strong ladies.

Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja – The Prime Minister of Uganda and the other party by The Vice President of Uganda H.E. Jessica Alupo.

Both delegations have a good composition of ladies and special interest groups and we are sure the Gender Equality issue will be tackled extensively. We thank the Government for taking such important strides in gender equality and passing the baton to the ladies.
