- The first Annual Youth Leadership Program (WLEDE’s flagship program) for Youth Leaving Schools for Colleges in Kampala was conducted in December 2013.
The goal of the training was to expose the young participants who had been leaders in their schools to leadership themes so as to develop a cadre of youth with transformed leadership, who would act as change agents among their peers and in their communities.
The training aimed at building a critical mass of gender sensitive youth leaders. - A lot of focus was put on building WLEDE brand and fundraising. Managed to get our first grant from the Delegation of the European Union to implement a project.
